You wouldn't believe why this Chinese woman stabbed her baby (PHOTO)

An eight-month-old boy
is lucky to be alive after he was stabbed 90 times by his mother, mostly in the
face, for biting her while she was breastfeeding him.
Xiao Bao needed more
than 100 stitches after the incident in Xuzhou, eastern China’s Jiangsu
Province.
The infant lives with
his mother and two uncles, who make a living recycling rubbish. It was one of
the uncles who discovered Xiao Bao lying in a pool of blood in the yard of
their home and rushed him to hospital who needed more than 100 stitches after
the incident in Xuzhou, eastern China’s Jiangsu Province.

The child’s mother later
confessed that she stabbed the baby after he bit her during breastfeeding.
Neighbours have pleaded
with the local government to take the baby away, but they have said that they
will not.
Apparently, they said
that there was no confirmation the mother was suffering from a mental illness
and said, regardless, the baby still has two guardians in the form of his two
uncles.

Mental illness remains a
relatively closed topic in modern China, and neither medication nor modern
psychiatric treatment is widely used.

An analysis of mental
health issues in four Chinese provinces, published in 2009 in the British
medical journal The Lancet, estimated that 91 per cent of the 173million
Chinese adults that were believed to suffer mental problems never receive
professional help.

WAR: UNIZIK VC Attempts to Replace SUG President For Exposing His Alleged Corrupt Practices

I got this mail from Hon Rex Eyisi, The SUG president Unizik

Hello Laila

I refrain from sounding in this tone but the Vice Chancellor has
declared war, as the President of the Students’ Union Government, the
peace of the University community and environs is my utmost Priority but
with the degenerating situation I can see that the University Management
is less concerned.
Information reaching me confirms that the
Students Representative Council has been compromised and the Speaker has
been given an ultimatum to Impeach a sitting President before the 19th
day of this month, they ll need to follow layed down Constitutional
Procedures but more than 4 stages of that procedure has be breached as
at the time of writing this.

It is disheartening that the PRO of
this great institution in whom I had revered is busy releasing bunch of
lies to the press… what do I expect? He’s trying not to get fired.
Let it be noted that dialogue has failed as access to the Vice
Chancellor has been denied by his Personal Assistant, and the Vice
Chancellor is bent on winning. Lols. . . he’s taking it as a fight.
Gone are the days when students ask questions, these days students are
wanted dead because a lecturer doesn’t want to answer a question, please
what else are we doing in Unizik? It’s indeed pathetic!
My heart goes out to members of the staff who are crippled and can’t help but follow orders, it’s well.
DEAR ZIKITES, IF I EVENTUALLY GO DOWN, BE REST ASSURED I DID WHAT YOU SENT ME TO DO.
My removal from office will be the genesis of the worst to befall our great institution under this present administration.
And in case they’ve forgotten, I reaffirm my stand, I stand with the students.
I really really can’t stand aside and look, human rights going down the drain.
Let aluta continue, the spirit is within!
If you’re seeing this, inform everyone, your people, your sector, and your structures… for the love of Unizik.

Noble C. Eyisi (Rotr. Comr.)

Man Plucks Out Friend’s Eye Before Dumping His Corpse at an Abandoned Building in Ogun (Photo)

Police detectives have launched a manhunt to capture a man identified
only as John, who allegedly murdered his 47-year-old friend, Idris
Alaba, and dumped his mutilated remains at an uncompleted building in
the Makun, Sagamu area of Ogun State.

The fleeing suspect was a member of a vigilance group in Ibafo, Owode
Local Government Area, which the deceased was the head until his demise.

According to Punch,
John and Alaba had reportedly left for Makun on Sunday, May 3, 2015 to
guard a facility, but the former, a father of four, did not return to
his house on Ajumobi Street, creating anxiety in his family.

A resident of Ajumobi, Boye Ajayi, revealed that John’s children gave
them a clue that led to the recovery of Alaba’s corpse which was found
without his eyes.

He said, “Everybody became worried when it was 10pm and Baba Ruka
(Alaba) had not come back home that Sunday. None of his family members
were around when he and John left. But we knew he and John were close
friends. The following day, when we went to John’s house, his two sons
had packed their luggage. They told us they heard their father saying he
was going to Makun with Baba Ruka.

“Other members of the vigilance group confirmed that there was a
facility that the duo guard in Makun. We took the children to the police
station and headed for the place. We found his corpse there with his
two eyes removed.”

Meanwhile, a ource from the police said, “We interrogated the children
and they told us that their father had warned that he might never come
back home again.

“His children were packing from the area when they were brought to the
station. We are keeping them in the station because they may be attacked
by the family members of the deceased.”

It was gathered on Saturday, May 16, 2015 that the family members of the
deceased have relocated to Iwo, Osun State, where he hailed from.

Describing the deceased, one of his tenants, Kazeem, said his landlord’s death was a shock to residents.

He said, “I was shocked on Monday when I heard that his corpse was found
in Sagamu. He was very generous to us. His family had relocated to Iwo
since Wednesday.”

Also speaking on the incident was a resident, Imam Abdulwaheed, who
said, “He was the one supervising security guards in this area. We ran
to him whenever we had challenges. He was a leader of the Ogun State
Vigilance Group.”

Confirming the incident, the state police spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi,
said the case had been transferred to the Department of Criminal
Investigation, Eleweran, Abeokuta.

He said, “The deceased left for Makun with his friend on the evening of
May 3, 2015, to supervise a building project. He was declared missing
the following day by his family and his corpse was later found at Makun.
His two eyes had been removed, but we have not ascertained how he was
killed. We are awaiting the result of an autopsy to know the primary
cause of his death.

“The suspect’s children are now with the police for protection. The
commissioner of police is aware of the incident. We are on the trail of
the suspect. He has a case to answer.”
