Drama happened at faculty of social science examination venue in Imo state University owerri as living day light was knocked out from a 200 Level female student of Animal science and Environmental Biology otherwise Known as department of Zoology, Miss Chinelo O. who came for  her exams by a provoked lecturer, Mr. Elijah confirmed her Identity.

The incident took place on Thursday afternoon at “old education trust fund building” (ETF 1) which is the examination venue for faculty of social science as the female victim lost consciousness after being chased by her lecturer who did not control his state of mind at that time owing to the fact that students can be disrespectful and rude most time.

The exam in question according to reports was in progress as students were all seated peacefully penning down answers while invigilators, supervisors and exam coordinators of the university monitored.
Drama started when the female victim was caught in an act against rules guiding examination which empowered Professor Richard Egbe of social science faculty to take back her answer booklet, it was gathered that the female student uttered provocative words to the lecturer.

Unknown to the girl the words she uttered earlier  roused displeasure, fury and indignation to the lecturer, she went to approach the lecturer to get her answer booklet back but he refused angrily made use of his belt and after which chased her into unconsciousness.

The lecturer’s action can also be verified as he was caught on camera making use of his belt to batter the female student blue and black following various harm she sustained including a knee injury.

All efforts made by Elijah Madubuihe and crew to hear the side of the story from Professor Richard Egbe proved abortive as he was nowhere to be found during the GST Examination Saturday 7th August.

A good Samaritan Mr. Marvin Iwuala student of mass communication (social science faculty) who single handedly carried the female victim to the clinic as seen in the 11 – seconds video that went viral on the internet confirmed the story to Mr. Elijah to be true saying that everyone was helplessly looking at her when she fainted but carried her alone without the help of anyone to the clinic where she was revived.
